L\u2019importation de chiens et de chats est soumise \u00e0 autorisation pr\u00e9alable. En effet, la Polyn\u00e9sie fran\u00e7aise est indemne de rage, de leishmaniose ainsi que de nombreuses maladies transmises par les tiques (notamment la maladie de Lyme) et puces et tient \u00e0 conserver ce statut sanitaire favorable.<\/p>\n

Import of dogs and cats is subjected to obtaining an import permit. As a matter of fact, French Polynesia is free from rabies, leishmaniosis and numerous other diseases transmitted by ticks and flies and intends to maintain this favourable status<\/em>.<\/p>\n

L’\u00e9tat de Hawa\u00ef est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme indemne de Rage et de Leishmaniose en regard de la r\u00e9glementation et les conditions d’entr\u00e9e des chiens et des chats n\u00e9s ou ayant r\u00e9sid\u00e9 plus de 6 mois, et provenant directement<\/strong> de ce territoire, sont ainsi all\u00e9g\u00e9es par rapport aux autres territoires des \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n

Attention, certaines races de chiens sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme appartenant \u00e0 la cat\u00e9gorie 1<\/strong> selon l\u2019arr\u00eat\u00e9 n\u00b01927 HC du 04\/09\/2009<\/em> (r\u00e9glementation propre \u00e0 la Polyn\u00e9sie fran\u00e7aise) , et sont par cons\u00e9quent interdites d\u2019importation en Polyn\u00e9sie fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n

Veuillez noter \u00e9galement que certaines races de chien \u201c\u00e0 nez retrouss\u00e9<\/strong>\u201d peuvent se voir refuser le transport en soute par les compagnies a\u00e9riennes, et il est vivement conseill\u00e9 de voir les conditions de ces derni\u00e8res avant toute importation.<\/p>\n

Dogs and cats must travel by freight (hold) in French Polynesia.<\/span> Exemptions for cabin travel may be granted by the Biosecurity Department only in the case of assistance dogs for disabled people or for transport by private aircraft.<\/span> Please note, certain dog breeds are considered to belong to category 1 according to Decree No. 1927 HC of 04\/09\/2009 (regulations specific to French Polynesia), and are therefore prohibited from importing into French Polynesia.<\/span> Please also note that certain breeds of \u201csnub nose\u201d dog may be refused carriage in the hold by airlines, and it is strongly advised to see the conditions of the latter before any importation.<\/span><\/span> <\/em><\/p>\n

Les chiens ou chats accompagnant leur propri\u00e9taire \u00e0 bord des bateaux de plaisance<\/strong> (voiliers, yacht, bateau de croisi\u00e8re) doivent pr\u00e9senter en tout point les m\u00eames conditions sanitaires pr\u00e9vues dans l\u2019arr\u00eat\u00e9 n\u00b0 738 CM du 15 mai 2013 modifi\u00e9<\/a>,\u00a0 comme pour toute importation d\u2019un chien ou d\u2019un chat en Polyn\u00e9sie fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n

Il est obligatoire de d\u00e9clarer les animaux \u00e0 bord du navire au plus tard au moment de l\u2019entr\u00e9e dans les eaux de Polyn\u00e9sie fran\u00e7aise, via le formulaire de d\u00e9claration n\u00b0211A<\/strong><\/a> qui doit \u00eatre retourn\u00e9 compl\u00e9t\u00e9 et sign\u00e9 par e-mail \u00e0 : animal.impex@biosecurite.gov.pf<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Attention, certaines races de chiens sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme appartenant \u00e0 la cat\u00e9gorie 1<\/strong> selon l’arr\u00eat\u00e9 du 27 avril 1999 sur les chiens susceptibles d’\u00eatre dangereux, et sont par cons\u00e9quent interdites d\u2019importation en Polyn\u00e9sie fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n

Une inspection par le v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire officiel de la Direction de la Bios\u00e9curit\u00e9 sera organis\u00e9e au plus vite \u00e0 bord du bateau au mouillage ou dans un port de l\u2019\u00cele de Tahiti.<\/p>\n

Cette visite conduira \u00e0 la d\u00e9livrance :<\/p>\n

\u2013 d\u2019une mise en consigne de l\u2019animal \u00e0 bord;<\/p>\n

ou<\/p>\n

\u2013 d\u2019un laissez-passer l\u2019autorisant l\u2019animal \u00e0 d\u00e9barquer.<\/p>\n

Tout contrevenant constat\u00e9 en infraction, s\u2019expose \u00e0 une amende de 450 000 F CFP en application de l\u2019article LP 58 de la loi du pays n\u00b0 2013-12 du 6 mai 2013.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dogs or cats accompanying their owner aboard pleasure boats (sailboats, yacht, cruise ship) must present in all respects the same sanitary conditions provided for in order n \u00b0 738 CM of May 15, 2013 as amended, as for any import. of a dog or a cat in French Polynesia.<\/em><\/p>\n

It is compulsory to declare the animals on board the vessel at the latest when entering French Polynesian waters, using the <\/em>declaration form n \u00b0 211A<\/strong><\/a> which must be returned completed and signed by e-mail to: animal.impex@biosecurite.gov.pf<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Please note, certain dog breeds are considered to belong to category 1 according to Decree No. 1927 HC of 12\/22\/2009 (regulations specific to French Polynesia), and are therefore prohibited from importing into French Polynesia.<\/em><\/p>\n

An inspection by the official veterinarian of the Biosecurity Department will be organized as soon as possible on board the boat at anchor or in a port on the Island of Tahiti.<\/em><\/p>\n

This visit will lead to the issuance of:<\/em><\/p>\n

– a deposit of the animal on board;<\/em><\/p>\n

or<\/em><\/p>\n

– a pass authorizing the animal to disembark.<\/em><\/p>\n

If the user is prevented from going to the island of Tahiti upon arrival, please contact the Biosecurity Department by phone: (+689) 40.540.100 or by e-mail: animal.impex@biosecurite.gov.pf<\/strong><\/a> as soon as possible.<\/em><\/p>\n

WITHOUT PASS ISSUED BY THE BIOSECURITY DEPARTMENT, THE ANIMAL IS MANDATORY KEPT ON BOARD<\/em><\/p>\n

IT CANNOT DISEMBARK UNDER ANY PRETEXT, INCLUDING FOR MEDICAL REASON.

SERVICE AND ASSISTANCE DOGS MUST RESPECT THE SAME REQUIREMENTS THAN OTHER DOGS TO ENTER IN FRENCH POLYNESIA TO BE ALLOWED TO DISEMBARK.<\/em><\/p>\n

Tous les animaux ont pour obligation de voyager par fret manifest\u00e9<\/strong> \u00e0 l’arriv\u00e9e en Polyn\u00e9sie fran\u00e7aise (loi du pays 2013-12) et sont donc interdits en cabine.<\/p>\n

Pour rappel, selon l\u2019arr\u00eat\u00e9 n\u00b0 738 CM du 15 mai 2013 portant fixation des conditions zoosanitaires applicables lors de l\u2019introduction et de l\u2019importation des chiens et des chats, on entend par animaux d\u2019assistance aux personnes handicap\u00e9es des chiens d\u2019assistance aux personnes handicap\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Le terme chien d\u2019assistance certifi\u00e9 ne comprend pas les chiens d\u2019assistance \u00e9motionnelle, les chiens de th\u00e9rapie, les chiens de r\u00e9confort et les chiens d\u2019assistance psychiatrique (ou des chiens de m\u00eame description), qui ne sont pas assimilables aux chiens d\u2019assistance \u201cservice dogs<\/em>\u201d\u00a0 aux personnes handicap\u00e9es certifi\u00e9s d\u00e9finis ci-dessus.<\/p>\n

Toute demande doit \u00eatre accompagn\u00e9e des documents suivants :<\/p>\n

a) Un certificat m\u00e9dical ou tout autre document officiel attestant du handicap du propri\u00e9taire\u00a0;
\nb) Un certificat attestant de la qualit\u00e9 du chien d\u2019assistance d\u00e9livr\u00e9 par un \u00e9tablissement de dressage agr\u00e9e par le(s) pays de provenance du chien.<\/p>\n

Les chiens d\u2019assistance aux personnes handicap\u00e9es sont autoris\u00e9s \u00e0 transiter dans les salles des a\u00e9roports internationaux sp\u00e9cifiquement r\u00e9serv\u00e9es \u00e0 cet effet. Ils ne sont pas soumis \u00e0 l\u2019obligation d\u2019\u00eatre exclusivement transport\u00e9s comme fret manifest\u00e9 propre \u00e0 tout animal introduit ou import\u00e9 en Polyn\u00e9sie fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n

Les chats ne sont pas concern\u00e9s par le transport en cabine et doivent \u00eatre exclusivement transport\u00e9s comme fret manifest\u00e9<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The term certified assistance dog does not include emotional assistance dogs, therapy dogs, comfort dogs and psychiatric assistance dogs (or dogs of the same description), which are not equivalent to service dogs. assistance \u201cservice dogs\u201d to certified disabled persons defined above. <\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

All requests must be accompanied by the following documents: <\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

– a) A medical certificate or any other official document attesting to the owner’s disability;<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

– b) A certificate attesting to the quality of the assistance dog issued by a training establishment approved by the country(ies) of origin of the dog. <\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Assistance dogs for people with disabilities are authorized to pass through rooms at international airports specifically reserved for this purpose. They are not subject to the obligation to be exclusively transported as manifested freight specific to any animal introduced or imported into French Polynesia. Cats are not eligible for carriage in the cabin and must only be transported as manifested cargo<\/span><\/span> <\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
