C\u2019est<br class=\"autobr\" \/>vraiment une grande ouverture pour moi d\u2019aller rencontrer les artistes, de d\u00e9couvrir<br class=\"autobr\" \/>ce qu\u2019ils pr\u00e9sentent. Je vais amener le soleil au Grand Palais\u00a0\u00bb, explique dans un large sourire Vainui Barsinas. Originaire de Rapa aux Australes, la jeune femme est artisane d\u2019art traditionnel sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans la vannerie. Elle travaille en particulier le roseau des montagnes, qui ne pousse qu\u2019au sein de son archipel. Vainui Barsinas est avec Ken Hardie, l\u2019une des deux artisans d\u2019art qui vont s\u2019envoler pour Paris et participer \u00e0 la 5e \u00e9dition Biennale Internationale des M\u00e9tiers d\u2019Art et Cr\u00e9ation qui se tient du 9 au 12 juin. Si les deux autres artistes retenus \u00e0 l\u2019issue de la s\u00e9lection ne peuvent h\u00e9las pas faire<br class=\"autobr\" \/>partie du voyage, leurs oeuvres seront n\u00e9anmoins \u00e9galement expos\u00e9es au Grand<br class=\"autobr\" \/>Palais \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re pendant les quatre jours que durera l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00ab\u00a0Le Grand Palais est un \u00e9crin tr\u00e8s prestigieux <strong class=\"caractencadre2-spip spip\">\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Et si Vainui Barsinas a le sourire aux l\u00e8vres, elle n\u2019est pas la seule. Le ministre de la Culture et de l\u2019Artisanat et les directrices du Mus\u00e9e de Tahiti et des \u00eeles, de la Direction de la culture et du patrimoine ainsi que la cheffe du Service de l\u2019artisanat traditionnel,<br class=\"autobr\" \/>qui ont oeuvr\u00e9 conjointement \u00e0 la concr\u00e9tisation de ce projet afin de permettre aux artistes et artisans de Polyn\u00e9sie fran\u00e7aise d\u2019exposer pour la premi\u00e8re fois \u00e0 cette biennale parisienne, l\u2019ont \u00e9galement. \u00ab\u00a0Cela fait des ann\u00e9es que l\u2019on travaille sur ce<br class=\"autobr\" \/>projet, les premi\u00e8res discussions ont d\u00fb commencer il y a au moins sept ans (\u2026). Cela n\u2019a pas toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 facile, mais on est vraiment tr\u00e8s contents que nos artisans puissent enfin exposer leurs savoir-faire \u00e0 la Biennale internationale des M\u00e9tiers d\u2019Art et Cr\u00e9ation. Le Grand Palais est un \u00e9crin tr\u00e8s prestigieux\u00a0\u00bb, note le ministre de la Culture et de l\u2019Artisanat, Heremoana Maamaatuaiahutapu, visiblement tr\u00e8s heureux que l\u2019artisanat polyn\u00e9sien puisse \u00eatre d\u00e9couvert et admir\u00e9 par un large public en M\u00e9tropole \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de la Biennale. Intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0R\u00e9v\u00e9lations\u00a0\u00bb, cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement, organis\u00e9 tous les deux ans, est le rendez-vous incontournable qui c\u00e9l\u00e8bre la cr\u00e9ation fran\u00e7aise et internationale. Pens\u00e9e et cr\u00e9\u00e9e par Ateliers d\u2019Art de France, un syndicat professionnel repr\u00e9sentant les 281 m\u00e9tiers d\u2019art fran\u00e7ais, la Biennale est un v\u00e9ritable lieu d\u2019\u00e9changes foisonnants, rassemblant les professionnels du march\u00e9 de la cr\u00e9ation et les amateurs d\u2019artisanat d\u2019art autour d\u2019oeuvres in\u00e9dites et de savoir-faire exceptionnels. Plus de 500 exposants sont attendus pour<br class=\"autobr\" \/>cette 5e \u00e9dition.<\/p>\n<p><strong class=\"caractencadre2-spip spip\"><strong>Une oeuvre commune sera d\u00e9voil\u00e9e<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>S\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s l\u2019an dernier lors de la venue du commissaire d\u2019exposition de la Biennale, Ken Hardie, Heremoana Buchin, Vaihere Tauraa et Vainui Barsinas, sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s dans le travail de la nacre, du bois et du tressage, incarnent \u00e0 eux quatre la diversit\u00e9 de la richesse de l\u2019artisanat local. Ils proposeront \u00e0 Paris des oeuvres repr\u00e9sentatives de la cr\u00e9ation artisanale polyn\u00e9sienne contemporaine. Les oeuvres seront pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es \u00e0 la Biennale dans le cadre de l\u2019exposition internationale \u00ab\u00a0Le Banquet\u00a0\u00bb, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s d\u2019oeuvres en provenance d\u2019autres r\u00e9gions ou pays du monde, de la Catalogne, de Chypre, de la Cor\u00e9e du Sud, des \u00c9mirats Arabes Unis, du Luxembourg, du Maroc, du<br class=\"autobr\" \/>Nig\u00e9ria, de la Slovaquie ou encore de la Zambie. Au total, ce sont une vingtaine<br class=\"autobr\" \/>d\u2019oeuvres qui seront envoy\u00e9es \u00e0 Paris, dont une commune r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par trois d\u2019entre eux, Vaihere Tauraa, Ken Hardie et Heremoana Buchin. Pour cette pi\u00e8ce, les trois artistes ont retenu la th\u00e9matique de la couronne ou hei, symbole du lien qui unit l\u2019ensemble des cinq archipels de la Polyn\u00e9sie fran\u00e7aise. En nacre et bois, l\u2019oeuvre entrem\u00eale techniques et symboles, avec l\u2019ambition de repr\u00e9senter la diversit\u00e9<br class=\"autobr\" \/>culturelle de la Polyn\u00e9sie fran\u00e7aise, mais \u00e9galement sa fragilit\u00e9. J\u2019y vais pour promouvoir la culture et l\u2019art polyn\u00e9siens, pour montrer que l\u2019on est l\u00e0, que l\u2019on a un vrai savoir-faire ainsi que des mati\u00e8res et des techniques qui nous sont propres. Cela m\u2019int\u00e9resse aussi d\u2019y aller, car cela va me permettre de partager, d\u2019\u00e9changer, de d\u00e9couvrir le travail d\u2019autres artistes du monde entier, car il y a des artistes de plus de dix pays diff\u00e9rents. C\u2019est un choc de cultures, c\u2019est int\u00e9ressant d\u2019aller voir ce qui se passe ailleurs.
