Hey guys,

We lost by 5000 votes against 1001 fontaines for the public prize. There was more than 365 000 votes in total for the contest. So We did all together an amazing job mobilizing makesense gang ! you were all fabulous. We were the only project doing such a community based vote campaign at a global scale so we can be proud of what we did. And I hope that no matter where you are in the world, you ve now seen that you have friends and as passionated people as you to solve challenges in many places around the world émoticône smile I also hope you ve seen that we have an amazing and thriving makesense community.

The good news is that google gave us 200K so now we ll continue to look for 600K more to complement our fundraising as explained onhttp://forward.makesense.org . As a result we continue to move forward and i ll make sure with Alizée Lozac’hmeur that we raise the sufficient money to rollout our plan. Untill today we ve built everything with little money and bootstrapped most of our work which allows us to be self-sustaining @ 85%. So these 300k missing are just a little months of delays.

Now let s stop the vote thing for a few years and I promess it will be the last contest we do. Let s focus on creating impact with projects we love.

We ve launched three causes where we can engage as a community to have a bigher impact :

Let s get back to work !

P.S : special thought to all the people that mobilized in tahiti, island home. You were magical and it gaves us lots of votes and a lot of energy and smiles. I ll soon come to see you before the end of the year and let s work on the social business incubator project for 2016.

Thanks everyone, warm hugs. Now going to sleep a bit.
