Entry formalities in French Polynesia for all ships.
The maritime borders of French Polynesia have been closed since March 21, 2020, by order of the High Commissioner.
French Polynesia has entered strict containment mode except for exceptions.
The curfew is imposed every evening from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
The modalities of entry into French Polynesia by sea.
For all ships :
In all cases, vessels depending on their activity must apply for a stopover permit and justify their requests. Below are the email addresses of the departments concerned:

For pleasure boat :
A form requesting entry into French Polynesia must be duly completed (below), presented to the maritime authorities (SAM and DPAM) accompanied by the maritime declaration of health (DMS).
In any case, all ships (cruises, yachts or pleasure craft) must announce themselves at least forty-eight (48) hours before arrival, the captain must report himself by indicating the state of health of the persons on board ( Port of Papeete and JRCC), specifying, if applicable, the symptoms observed (fever, cough, etc.).
After analysis of the situation justifying the request, the documents are sent and in particular the DMS to the Health Watch Office (BVS) which analyzes and decides on the measures to be taken on arrival for all the people on board.
Pending the results of the test (if such is the case), or the express decision of the BVS, passengers, crew members or any persons on board are not allowed to disembark, at the dock or at sea.
The BVS decides on the people on board all ships entering French Polynesia according to the number of people on board, the number of days at sea duly justified by the exit document from the country of origin (clearance).
Depending on the case, the test is performed based on the BVS analysis. Mariners can also request, upon arrival, to perform the test.
